Rose, Marian (Ms.)

An accomplished musician, writer and community organizer, Marian Rose has devoted her professional life to bringing traditional dance, games and stories to children and their families. Her repertoire includes folk, square dances, singing games, string figures and hula hoops, with an emphasis on Canadian, French, and East European cultures. She is writer and publisher of the popular ‘Step Lively’ series of classroom dance resources and has recently added a new book/CD entitled Dansez.
